How Timestamps Work

Basic Functionality

• Appears beside invoice date in Invoice Date field

• Shows in 12-hour format (HH:MM AM/PM)

• Works on both existing and new invoices

Timestamp Rules

• Only displays when invoice date matches current date

• Not applicable for back-dated or future-dated invoices

• Original timestamp remains unchanged after edits

• Shows on automated bills when they convert to invoices

Display Formats

• Preview: Visible beside invoice date

• Standard Print: Appears on all printed invoices

• Thermal Print: Displays beside invoice date
