Overview

Mira AI can read a purchase bill you upload and fill in the invoice for you. You upload a PDF or image, Mira AI extracts the details, and you review and save. The bill is recorded and your inventory updates automatically.

Steps

  1. Log in to myBillBook on the web at mybillbook.in.

  2. In the left panel, under Purchases, click Purchase Invoices.

  3. Click Create Purchase Invoice (top right).

  4. On the left of the create screen, find the Autofill this bill panel, marked Powered by Mira AI.

  5. Click Drag & Drop or Upload file and select your bill.
    Supported: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG - up to 5MB, max 5 pages.

  6. Click Proceed. Mira AI reads the bill and auto-fills the party, items, HSN, tax and totals on the right.

  7. Review the details, then click Save.

The purchase is recorded, and any new items are added to your inventory with updated stock.

Good to know

  • A green New tag means the party or item isn't in your records yet — it's created only when you save.

  • Verify GSTIN, HSN and GST rates before saving — AI can miss details.

  • Started a scan but didn't save? It's kept under Purchase Invoices → Incomplete Scans to finish later.

  • OCR-created bills carry a Created using Mira AI marker in your invoice list.

  • PDF uploads read more accurately than camera photos.
