Adding a free item to an invoice can boost customer satisfaction and simplify promotional offers. myBillBook allows businesses to add free items seamlessly during invoice creation. The "Free Quantity" feature lets users specify a quantity of an item that will be included at no cost, appearing as ₹0 in the invoice. This functionality is ideal for running promotions, offering loyalty rewards, or bundling products.

How to Set Up and Use the "Free Quantity" Feature

Enable the Free Quantity Option

1. Navigate to Invoice Settings:

   • On the invoice creation screen, click on Settings at the top-right corner.

2. Access Additional Settings:

   • Within the settings menu, go to the Additional Settings section.

3. Enable Free Quantity:

   • Toggle the Free Quantity option to "ON."

Add Free Items to an Invoice

1. Go Back to Invoice Creation:

   • Return to the invoice creation screen and start adding items as usual.

2. Add Items to the Invoice:

   • Click on the Add Item button to include products or services.

3. Specify Free Quantity:

   • In the Add Item popup, click on the + FREE button above the quantity field.

   • Enter the quantity of the item you wish to offer for free.

   • Click Save to confirm.

4. Review and Finalize Invoice:

   • The free items will now appear in the invoice with ₹0 as the price. Verify the details and click Save to finalise the invoice.
