How Mira AI remembers your corrections during recording Purchase Bills

Overview
When you scan a purchase bill, the item and party names on your supplier's invoice often don't match the names in your inventory. For example, your supplier writes "White cement 50 kg" but you store it as "JK Birla White Cement 50kg" in your books. Both names are correct - they're just different.
Mira AI now remembers when you map these names. The next time the same name appears on a scan, it automatically picks the right item or party from your list. No manual matching needed.
How to Use
Step 1: Open Scan & Record Bills
Open the myBillBook app
Tap "+" on the dashboard
Select "Scan and Record Bills" under Purchase Transactions
Step 2: Upload or Capture Your Bill
Upload a bill PDF, upload a bill image, or click a photo of the bill
Mira AI processes the bill and populates party name and item details
Step 3: Review and Correct
Once the purchase voucher is populated, review the items and party name. If a supplier's name doesn't match your inventory - for example, bill says "White cement 50 kg" but your inventory has "JK Birla White Cement 50kg" - tap the item and select the correct one from your list.
You can correct in three ways:
Map to existing: Tap the item or party β select the right one from your list
Rename and create new: The item doesn't exist in your inventory β create it as new but rename it to your convention before saving
Correct a wrong auto-match: Mira AI picked the wrong item β swap it to the correct one
After each correction, you'll see a toast: "Item Name Mapping Learnt" or "Party Name Mapping Learnt" and a small icon next to the corrected name. Tap the icon to see what was stored.
Step 4: Save
Tap Save. The purchase bill and items get recorded in your books. Corrections are stored only on successful save β if you exit or save fails, nothing is stored.
Step 5: Scan Next Bill from the Same Supplier
Next time you upload a bill from the same supplier, Mira AI remembers your party name and item name mappings. They get auto-applied - no more re-edits or typing.
You'll see a β¨ spark icon next to auto-filled names and a toast confirming: "Item Name auto-applied from memory" or "Party Name auto-applied from memory." If multiple items are auto-applied, the toast shows the count: "(3) Item Names auto-applied from memory."
The more you scan, the more accurate it gets.
Important Things to Know
Saved only on successful purchase save. Exit or failed save = nothing stored.
Company-wide. One person's correction applies for all users in that business.
No setting needed. Works automatically.
Latest correction wins. If someone maps the same supplier name to a different item later, the new mapping replaces the old one.
Works for both items and parties. Same behaviour for both.
